Veldt grape

Veldt grape  (pronounced [phet-cha-sang-khat];  Scientific name :  Cissus quadrangularis ) is a creeping plant in the grape family. Other names are San Chakat, Khan Khan, Sam Roi Tor or San Cha Kuad. The vine bark is smooth, green, rectangular in shape with fins. See the joints clearly. At the small joint, it tightens down. Each joint is about 6-10 centimeters long. Some joints may have roots coming out as well. There is a hand sticking out at the joint opposite the leaf. The joints have white rubber with lots of calcium oxalate crystals.
