Veldt grape

Veldt grape  (pronounced [phet-cha-sang-khat];  Scientific name :  Cissus quadrangularis ) is a creeping plant in the grape family. Other names are San Chakat, Khan Khan, Sam Roi Tor or San Cha Kuad. The vine bark is smooth, green, rectangular in shape with fins. See the joints clearly. At the small joint, it tightens down. Each joint is about 6-10 centimeters long. Some joints may have roots coming out as well. There is a hand sticking out at the joint opposite the leaf. The joints have white rubber with lots of calcium oxalate crystals.

Bitter gourd

Bitter gourd  ( scientific name :  Momordica charantia ) is a local vegetable that grows everywhere. The small fruit is shaped like a shuttle. The surface of the shell is rough and has protruding buttons. The young fruit is green. When old, it will be reddish yellow. The fruit ends into 3 lobes. Birds like to come and eat both the fruit and the seeds. Then they transfer the seeds to various places, so it is called bitter gourd.
